- 8/8/2021 - Been meaning to add an update for awhile. The Yuma summer heat has not been playing nice with the camera. So it's currently down until temps chill out a bit or I figuer out a way to cool it.
- 5/15/2021 - Moved the camera into a new position. Should have less obstruction and low level light interference. Looks like I need to re-focus the lens though and find better settings for the startrails now.
- 5/6/2021 - Downgraded the Pi4 to an older firmware and camera has been stable. The extra power of the 4 is also more than I expected, nightly timelapses are now getting posted around 6AM AZ time instead of early afternoon since they finish processing so much quicker!
- 4/30/2021 - I swapped to the new pi4 a few days ago and it seemed to be working...but the camera is freezing and I haven't yet figured out why. So operation is intermittant at this point and I'm not getting enough images for timelapses or startrail images.
- 4/27/2021 - Camera is currently down. As you can see from the last image captured we had some rain. Unfortunately I didn't have the pi in a case yet and didn't expect rain. I was already getting ready to upgrade to a pi4 so I should have it back up soon - but might be a few days before I get the new pi configured.
